  Switched here from a larger church and feel so welcome. It's a very family-friendly environment and easy to get to know people. I hope to stay here for a long time!

  This is such an amazing community of Christians! Great combination of God-centered worship and loving people. I appreciate how the kids participate in the worship and see first hand how their parents and so many others give thanks to God. I never knew what Orthodoxy was, but this is truly something to behold!

  Fr. James and the members of St. Raphael Orthodox Mission Church have created a welcoming, family friendly environment to worship. Family nights provide a way to get together mid-week and share in liturgy and fellowship. Sunday School is offered for preschool - grade school children on Sunday's following liturgy. Fr. James also offers Sunday School for adults following coffee hour on Sundays. St. Raphael also has a Mens Group that gets together for events, a Ladies Group and a Home School Co-op.
  
  My family and I feel so blessed to be among those that worship at St. Raphael's!

  We have been members of many Orthodox Parishes over the years-- Large and small, old and new, ethnic and diverse—and in our short time here St. Raphael has shown itself to be one of the best. A perfect blend of converts and cradle Orthodox, lots of young active children, and a full calendar of worship services. If you are Orthodox, Come and you will feel at home. If you are not Orthodox, Come and See, and you may find a home.

  I moved to North Carolina from the Midwest without any family and few friends in the Raleigh area. It has been such an amazing blessing to find a home in the Orthodox Church and begin learning to truly pray, worship, serve, and seek after an ever growing communion with God amidst such a loving, local parish as St. Raphael Orthodox Mission Church. This is a place where you can learn to live out the ancient Christian faith in our world today amidst a loving, vibrant, and diverse community of converts and "cradle" Orthodox, local North Carolinians and those from different parts of the nation and world, and those of all ages and stages in life. So, if you are looking for a local home in the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church made up of people faithfully seeking to live out authentic Christian prayer, worship, and community (or if that idea simply intrigues you), come and see!
